General Widget Settings

Each Widget has a set of General Settings that related to how and where it will be shown in the mobile app.

  • Widget Name: You can change the name of the widget in this field
  • Parent Widget: You can change which parent this widget belongs to. For single venue widgets, it can be a widget with no parent, or it can be part of a Folder Widget. For multi venue widgets you can also add the widget to a different venue.
  • Widget Icon: This is the thumbnail icon that can be used to display the widget on the home page menu list, the side drawer, and also in the Folder Widget list, if the widget is a child of a Folder Widget
  • Widget Full Width Image: Sometimes you will want a wider icon to represent the image. This usually means the image takes up the full width of where the widget is being displayed. Ie if you have a full width image set, and the widget is set to show in the side menu, then only the image will be shown and not the Widget Name as text.
  • Widget Icon On Press: If you want to change the appearance of the widget icon when it's pressed then you can add a Widget Icon On Press image.
  • Widget Icon Background: You may want to set both the background image of a widget as well as the Widget Icon.
  • Show as Home Widget Item: This will set the widget to display on the home page as part of the home page menu items. These are displayed just below the home page banner, and are displayed above the live artist profile images:
  • Show as Side Menu Item: This allows the widget to be displayed on the side menu
